Weeks of Waiting, Conflicting Lies, & Terrible Service: My Glasses USA Experience 😤
I'm sharing my story to warn others about my awful experience with Glasses USA. After waiting weeks for my sunglasses, I was fed up with the conflicting information. "I order prescription sunglasses from Glasses USA and I place 2 regular prescription glasses from another company on Feb. 24 which I already received both regular prescription glasses a week ago. Glasses USA told me first, my order was shipped and delayed due to weather. Today I’m told they are not even made yet and they might be finished by March 11 and their solution is to refund me my expedited shipping charge. The customer service rep disconnected on me before asking if I had anymore questions and I wasn’t done." This infuriating experience is why I felt compelled to call them back immediately and demand a real explanation.
Customer: I was just disconnected. I was told my order was shipped, and now I'm being told it hasn't even been made yet. Which one is it?
CS Rep: I deeply apologize for the disconnection and the conflicting information you've received. That is completely unacceptable. Could you please provide your order number so I can get you a definitive answer right now?
Customer: It's [Order Number]. I paid for expedited shipping to get them quickly, not to be told lies about the weather while my order just sits there. A refund on shipping doesn't fix this.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration completely. Looking at your order, I can confirm it is still in the lab and has been prioritized. I've already refunded the shipping, and for this unacceptable delay, I am adding a 25% discount to your entire order. I will personally monitor it and email you the moment it ships.
Customer: Fine. I expect that confirmation email. This has been a terrible experience.
CS Rep: You will have it. Again, I am truly sorry for the frustration and lack of clear communication you have experienced. We will do better.
