My experience with this online glasses company was an absolute nightmare, and I feel obligated to warn others. To put it bluntly, they are thieves who are incompetent and unable to give you a solid response to simple questions regarding an order. The customer service agents are all useless. They first sent my glasses with the prescriptions flipped. After weeks of arguing about a replacement, I gave up and asked for a refund. Now, they're holding my money hostage. This is what pushed me to contact their customer service yet again, hoping for a straight answer.
Customer: I'm checking on the refund for order #789542. It's been weeks since you messed up my prescription by flipping the lenses. Where is my money? CS Rep: I do apologize for the error with your original order and the delay. Let me look into the status of your refund. One moment. Customer: I've had enough of "one moments" and automated emails. I need a concrete answer. You've had my money for over a month for a product that was completely unusable. CS Rep: I understand your frustration. I can see the refund was processed on our end three days ago. It can take your bank 5-7 business days to post the funds. Customer: That's a new excuse. Last week you said it was still "pending." You guys are incompetent. I want proof of this transaction, a reference number, something tangible. CS Rep: I am not able to provide that directly, but I can assure you it is on its way. An agent will email you an update within one business day. Customer: An email from another computer with a fake name? Unacceptable. This is exactly why I'm telling everyone to avoid you.
