Dishonest Timelines & A Worthless Bot: A Warning Before You Buy 🛑

I’m sharing my story as a warning to others. I ordered a pair of glasses for an upcoming trip, trusting the company's advertised production timeline, but that was a huge mistake. Frustrating is the word to describe this company - dishonest would be another. They claim 6 days to produce the glasses - has anyone really had them make good on this ? Their customer service bot is worthless and I doubt there is any HUMAN reps. I ordered for a trip thinking no.problem it will take a few weeks - that has come and gone and no date in sight. Pretty disappointed that they mislead on how long it actually takes probably shipped from China. After getting nowhere with the automated system, I felt I had no choice but to finally try and speak with a person before posting my review.

Customer: My order is weeks late. Your website promises a 6-day production time, but that's obviously not true. My trip is next week. Where are my glasses?

CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about this delay and the frustration it has caused. I completely understand your position. Could I please get your order number to check the status immediately?

Customer: The order is XXXXX. But the issue isn't just the status. The issue is your company is being dishonest. Why advertise 6 days when you can't deliver?

CS Rep: Thank you. I see your order now. I sincerely apologize; there was an unexpected delay in our lab. Your glasses have just shipped, and I can give you the express tracking number. The timeframe you experienced is not our standard.

Customer: So they still might not arrive before I leave. This is unacceptable. This whole process has been a nightmare, and your advertising is misleading.

CS Rep: I understand completely. To apologize for this significant delay and the poor experience, I have refunded the entire shipping cost to your account. I am truly sorry this has happened.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
